Thanks for the step by step guide.

I was having problems with point 8 in your guide and it seems wordpress has stripped out important code which I managed to view by looking at the source. May be worth looking at editing..

I agree, man. Coda has changed the way I develop, BIGTIME. I started developing on a windows box with Dreamweaver of all things back in the day. Coda's awesome, but definitely needs more features.

I'm at the point in using Coda that I have so many sites that I don't even use the freaking awesome site grid because it takes too long to find anything anymore. I've begun developing a naming convention for sites and just using the Sites dropdown. So I'm a huge fan of the site folders organization idea.

Here, here! Another vote for Coda 2.0. Surely a walk through Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse, or even good ole Notepad++ would bring to light a number of low hanging fruit features that would be greatly appreciated.

I know those apps say Windows, but I'm a Mac user/lover/fanboi for my web dev. I do MAMP when I don't have internet access, otherwise, Coda makes it too easy not to just use FTP stuff up to see if it works ;-)

The new version of Transmit looks very cool, and seems faster...I'll be shelling out for the upgrade soon. Maybe this means a new Coda is around the corner...oh please, oh please, oh PLEASE!

Cheers to all!

Thanks for the credit. It took a while to understand how in the world to create the query in the first place, and yeah the EAV is hard to write for. I might do a complete rewrite of it at some point now that I'm more familiar with Magento, but this still seems to work well.

Hey -

I'm experiencing a similar issue with a 1-2 second delay before my clients websites load.

I was hoping this was a new issue, but now I'm seeing you had the same problem back in 2009.

Thanks for your post,

I tried the tweak you have said in this blog, but it doesn't work. The other thing is I tried connecting my room mates display to my macbook and it detects it with ease! Let me know what I should do. How do I return this to Apple if this is the case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dan,

I got my new 13'' macbook pro and 24'' LED Display today. However, my display stays just black whatever I do! I am seriously getting shit pained with this. Is there any power on button on the display which I am not turning it on? The power however gets supplied from the display to the macbook pro when I connect the magsafe connector from the display to the macbook. Am I missing something really stupid. Any help would be of great help!

Thanks

Has anyone here had any luck updating MT to use FastCGI and also get .htaccess files (mod_rewrite) to work properly? Everything works fine until I try to add .htaccess files to my MT account. The server then defaults to the Apache test page rather than rendering the proper file.
